TablePlus is a free open-source app for you to use to create markup text in almost any format, and paste tables from the clipboard. There are a lot of powerful text editing features:
Create tables of content (table, tr, td, and so on) that are editable. Easily create rich text (HTML) or plain text. This feature is especially useful for Jira. Create columns from scratch (as long as you paste the HTML, it will create the HTML, you just need to edit it with the built-in editor. No need to type! Use tabulation, enter text, and so on to add new entries to the columns. You can also use tabular text to add new columns, rows, and tables. Create headers, footers, and other elements to improve the look of your table, like creating cells with borders, columns with headers, adding alignment, and so on. It is not just about pasting a table, it is also about the pasting mechanism.
